Heaven Sent

Story: inspired by Gustav Dore’s illustration Paradise Lost. An angel is wrongly banished to the  outer realms of the netherworld. Feeling pain for the first time, she is shocked, battered and  hurt. She has to attempt to navigate her way back to where she came from.

Controls: Space = fly, directional buttons = left and right

Note: this is the first game I’ve ever made on my own, so there will be a few bugs  :(
Before this point, I had never done any coding before...like this was a complete culture shock, haha.

If I were to go back in time and do this again. I wouldn't have gotten so hyperfocused on the aesthetics. I used World Machine to create the terrain (that was fun but that wasn't part of the brief). I should have polished the game play more, as I think the controls feel quite clunky.
