Marketing Devlog Entry #20


Social media campaign push!

The badges have now been finalised and the order has been placed, which means all merch is now sorted. This leaves the campaign with one last task - daily uploads onto Instagram and every other day an upload onto TikTok. The Instagram timeline is as follows:

18th Sept - Teaser poster drop

13th Oct - Teaser video drop and another post showcasing BTS animation assets - sketches with cryptic captions to generate early interest

14th Oct - Serina's illustrations scanned through, with a different title treatment of Enter Her Paracosm (essentially another teaser drop)

15th Oct - Clip of an animation test for the game with music overlayed 

16th-21st Oct - Posts on screengrabs, BTS of the game's music composing, memes relating back to EHP, Serina's illustrations and an exclusive clip of the game's opening title sequence

22nd Oct - Two days before EGX, the official poster drop

23rd Oct - Official trailer drop in the morning! Also upload an instagram reel in the evening - the making of EHP tees which will be worn at EGX. We collaborated with the Model Making department as we needed to use the laser cutter to create a durable stencil, as we spray painted the tees. A short one-minute edit was devised to market this as well as remind followers we will be exhibiting at EGX. We also dropped the merch (this post is attached in previous Devlog #19), aiming to attract visitors

24th-26th Oct - EGX WEEKEND! Spam posting, story re-posts, interactions with the public via chatting to us, social media following, answering questions etc. 

November - EGX wrap-up post, and sustain marketing to still attract Steam wishlists
